Will my data be kept confidential?Yes. Your data will be securely stored and used for research purposes. We will share collective trends and anonymised findings, ensuring your privacy and confidentiality. Only participants who have given us explicit permission to use their name and title, or to share any specific findings will be shared. Permission will be obtained separately in writing, with agreement on specifics that are to be shared.

Who should Apply?We welcome speakers across all experience levels, but we specifically need varied numbers of: Beginners: Aspiring speakers overcoming fears. Intermediate: Regular speakers aiming to grow their impact. Advanced: Professionals refining their craft. Limited spots available in each category!

What is the cost?There is no cost to participate in this research project. We may ask you if you’re willing to give us a testimonial or referral at the end, if you have received value from working with Bonita. But that is also not required.

What is The Voice Code® Research Project?This project explores the qualities that make speakers impactful, uncovering the internal and external elements that define their unique Speaker X-Factor. Participants gain insights and tools to amplify their speaking abilities while contributing to groundbreaking research shared in my TEDx talk and The Voice Code® book.

What is the time commitment?The program requires just 2 hours, running from 1 December to 31 March 2025, with flexibility to complete activities at your convenience. Some applicants will be offered an opportunity to be featured on The Talking Stick Podcast, which would be an additional hour if you're selected.

How will the findings be used?The research aims to inspire positive change and amplify voices worldwide through sharing some key findings publicly. We hope that the collective trends and insights will contribute positively to the field of public speaking, leadership and communication. Bonita aims to revel insights in her crazy ambitious goals - a TEDx talk and her book, The Voice Code® to inspire and reach a wider audience.
